His passion, determination and love for the Hamlet of Lowville were a key component in maintaining the character of the community.<br \/>\nI took inspiration in creating this interactive sculpture from Harold&#8217;s unwavering commitment to his community and from a world where nature and finding common ground are vital to enriching our lives. The intent was to create a place where people would want to congregate.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Common Ground&#8217;<\/em> refers to all that connect us as individuals, families and communities either\u00a0geographically or on larger scales.<\/p>\n<p>It is the things we have in common that allow us to grow, give us strength and most importantly enrich our daily lives.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px; text-align: left;\"><em>Lowville Residents &amp; friends are invited to attend the unveiling of \u2018Common Ground\u2019, an interactive sculpture honoring the late Harold Ledsham.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px; text-align: left;\"><em>Harold will always be remembered for his tireless efforts as President of the<br \/>\nLowville Area Residents\u2019 Association and his many years of commitment to the beautification of the Village of Lowville.
