If they can put a man on the moon, limitations should be related only to gravity
Walt Rickli
With this philosophy in mind Walt has become a true installation artist, finding effective solutions for moving and installing large sculptures. Experience in working on penthouse gardens and restricted spaces, Walt has developed unique ways of installing large sculptures in seemingly impossible circumstances. A large inventory of self designed equipment including portable cranes, leverage devices and rolling equipment have made it possible to move a 2000 pound kitchen sink up four flights of stairs, install a 6000 pound water sculpture on the third floor of a cancer center and place a 19 ton stone composition on the second floor terrace of a University building. The ingenuity, planning and successful execution of sculpture installations is an integral part of Walt’s creative process.
