We found working with Walt to be a pleasure – he is extremely talented and creative, but at the same time was very receptive to our ideas and wishes. In the end I feel we came up with an installation that was reflective of his talent, while at the same time feeling that we were partners in the project. His attention to detail and ‘can do’ attitude were great, as is his ongoing commitment to service. We love our piece and look at it as a work of art as well as a place of solitude – it is hard to explain the pleasure it give us.

Walt added his creative and majestic touch to our healing garden with his marvellous stone sculptures. His artistry has enhanced the healing and fun properties of our garden that would otherwise been missing. The “icing on the cake” is Walt’s persona that came along with his work!

I have worked with Walt Rickli for several years on various stone projects and have found Walt to be reliable and dependable and a pleasure to work with.
Walt has an uncanny ability to look at a project and very quickly come up with the best way to approach the job at hand, on the artistic as well as the practical level.

The Lowville Bistro is very proud to showcase Walt Rickli's works! Walt's talents are displayed in our very unique customer washrooms. ...And six years later, we still hear wonderful comments from people who acknowledge the creativity and awesome impact of his sculptured works. What an intriguing way to keep people talking about a simple washroom!

Walt is definitely one of my great mentor/heroes. It is his expansive knowledge-love of stone, design, gardens, and forklifts that ground, feed and provide foundation for a formidable childlike creative dreamer who is always warm and full of humour. I know he’s a mouthful.
Dave Hind- Metal SculptorWalt’s creativity and energy were extremely helpful in helping us create a new vision for the public space at one of Cleveland’s oldest historic landmarks, Shaker Square. Walt brought fresh ideas to the table, and his perspective enabled us to push our designs to the next level. We look forward to working with Walt as we bring our new collective vision to reality.
